Stratisys uPrint SE : $15,900
The uPrint SE is the printer of choice for the Department of Justice. They purchased more than 100 of them for educational programs for the STARBASE youth education program. The retail price of each Stratisys uPrint SE: $15,900 and up.
The uPrint SE features Fused Deposition Modeling to print the model along with any support material. The spools Stratisys uses have 42 cubic inches of material, which should allow for long print runs and less frequent spool changes. Unlike the Object models, the uPrint comes with a water jet system to remove support material they call the “waveWash Support Cleaning System”. The support material is water soluble, so it dissolves easier.
