Object Connex 500 Price: $250,000
Stratisys is bringing high resolution to 3d printing. Their Object Connex500 prints up to 14 different materials in the same print, on a large build tray – 500 x 400 x 200mm. The multiple materials can be used to highlight different components of a design, or to use different colors in the same model. It can print in rubbers, transparent materials, and use the standard ABS plastics. One use could be to print solids in a transparent support material.
In addition to the $250,000 price tag, you’ll also need a station with a water jet to remove printed support material.
